I am so going to do this.
Luckily, I've already read Animal Farm too, so only have to worry about catching up on the first one and it's only 60 pages so should be manageable (why did this story only make the news after the second book was sent anyway?).
Any other takers?

Awesome. Me too. Although I have a feeling yann's selections might still challenge me to reach the final pages in a few cases. Also, maybe once the list is exhausted we should start our own book club . .. hmmmm? or perhaps a book blog?

I agree on the book club. If you and I are the only takers, though, maybe we could do a real live one instead of a blog one? We could always invite other locals.
I'm totally shocked. You're suggesting that we leave our computer screens, expose ourselves to sunlight, and talk to each other face-to-face? Obviously facebook hasn't totally gotten to you yet!
I've already hit a snag with this little plan - bookstores are all sold out of the book. Have to check library tomorrow.
